I thought about making this for a long time and finally did it. Hopefully you guy's will like it.
First we select the hood (only the inside, not the black outlines) with the rectangle marquee like so.
Next we got to image>adjustments>desaturate
After this, we change the brightness and the contrast. This you have to mess around with for diffrent colored cars. Fo this one I did -70 brightness and -20 contrast(i like the smoother look).
Next We make a new layer and fill it with this pattern
It should look like this:
Next we change that layer's opacity to 40-50%
We are now down to the last part. Now we got to image>adjustments>gradient map(make sure you forground color is black and your background color is white)and press ok.
Now zoom out and flatten the image, you should have a car that looks like this
And your done.
THIS ISN'T ONLY FOR A HOOD, THIS CAN ALSO BE USED FOR TRUNKS, DOORS, GAS CAPS AND MIRRORS

I havent read the tutorial yet.. Please reduce the h x w of the images.. If you need to make the images a link to pull up the full screen... The size that they are - just throw everything out of wack..

Since you're not going to resize them, I've deleted them all together. If you want to add them back in go ahead and do so as long as you've resized them... If you add them back in and they are not resized - I will then raise your warning level and delete the topic.

This are Manga Cars. Created by Pixel art . It's to compare with pictuning. You get a picture of a car , and you digital tune it. Manga cars ,are pixelated cars ,created to look as realistic to original. This is fun to tune and very addictive. Try it out ! THere is a link underneath Tutorials section
