Yay! A complete record of the OoT Story with alterations and additions to MY liking!! Enjoy or not, just tell me what you think!

(forgive the pisspoor old english the Deku Tree uses. I'm no expert XP)

Prologue: Political Affairs of the World & The Legacy of Sir Roland

"The day is a great one. How crips hast the air becomst this morn!" This, the Great Deku Tree, Gaurdian of the Forest, said on a wonderful morning. Tiny points of light flew around his trunk. They swirled around one another playfully and whimsically. "Ah! The fairies hast joined me in the day's marvel! Tell me, my children, what news dost thou bring?"

"Lake Hylia is gleaming peacefully in the morning sun, Great Deku Tree!" One fairy reported.

"Father!" another said, "The zoras have finally agreed to treaty with the Hylians on the condition that Hylians no longer allow the hermit scientist to dump his experiments in to lake Hylia."

A third stopped and announced, "The Hylian settlement of Kakariko has finally been accepted by King Darunia of the Gorons. He and King Graham performed their 'blood brotherhood' ritual last night before Graham left for Gerudo Valley."

The three of them left immediately to the forest.

"It would seem all is well in the world. But ho! Gerudo Valley has no news? Navi, comst hither and tell what you would!"

One fairy was left, however, but she did not feel as spirited as the others. She slowly landed on the Deku Tree's nose and wept:

"Terrible news, Great Deku Tree, soon after King Graham arrived with his charges at Gerudo Valley, King Aghanim ordered a full scale assault on the unsuspecting hylians. Many knights and their families fell victim to the attack. Among these is your friend Roland, sir."

"How awful. Roland, I weep for thee. Thou will be missed." The tree said," Aghanim is a great fool, 117 years old and he still understands nothing. hopefully his son, Gannondorf will be a better ruler...Navi, hast thou any news of His Highness?"

"He is well, father, he has retreated to the castle. His daughter is well also. The priests of the Triforce believe she has a spark or foresight but cannot yet be sure. Queen Elizabeth wishes to develop the ability."

"Ah yes, Zelda is a fine babe. I can already sense she will play a hand in the fate of all Hyrule. I only hope she gets the chance to. Aghanim will no doubt move on Hyrule Castle after the attack on the camp. Let us wish the Hylians luck"

"Indeed, sir" Navi said whistfully, "Hyrule has my deepest concern. The darkness is spreading, in spite of the new unity in the 3 races. The Sheikah have sensed it as well."

Suddenly, a noise caught the pair's attention. "W-what was that!?" I figure slowly faded into the clearing. She was Hylian, Blond hair cropped to her shoulders fell over her dirty, but fair face. She wore an elegant dress that showed she was one of nobility, perhaps even a Knight's lady, however, the dress was beaten and tattered. She carried a bundle of cloths in her armes. These were completely clean and free from tears.

She swayed and fell against a tree. Her weary face cracked a smile. Her voice was hoarce as she whispered, "Thank the Goddesses, you exist...as he said you did."

"Who are you! Hylians aren't supposed to know about us!!" Navi blurted in distress.

"Mind thine manners, Navi. She hast obviously traveled far" The Deku Tree said sympathetically, "Tell me, M'Lady, what dost thou needst of me?"

Again she smiled, her breathing was shallow, but constant. She replyed, "My business here is in consern of a life. The greatest life left in my world."

"And I can somehow preserve this life? Is this what thou dost ask of me?"

"I do not mean to be foreward, O Gaurdian. I am Sarrah, lady and wife of Sir Roland, whom I am led to believe is aquainted with you."

"Yes, I have had the honor of meeting thine husband and am greived by the news of his passing."

"You already know, then."

"But If your husband is already dead, how can we save his life?" Navi blurted again.

"Navi, I do not belive she is here on his behalf, only" The Deku Tree said.

"So she wants us to save her?" The woman winced in both pain and embarrassment from the brusque manner of the little fairy. She slid down the tree to sit down, she was obviously exhausted.

"No, no, Navi. Do not be so rude. I believe you are here on behalf of the child, am I right?" The woman nodded, apparently too tired to speak any more, "Very well, I accept your son into my wardship. What is his name?"

"...Link" She said and promptly fainted.

"Navi! Get Mido and Milo. They may know what to do to help her. Quickly, now!" Navi nodded and zoomed off into the woods. The deku tree slowly picked up the woman and layed her in the middle of the glen. He then lowered a vine and cradled the babe in it. He didn't cry or falter as it was lifter many feet off of the ground. In fact he smiled.

"Thou art a very brave young man. Such courage is rare in dark times, and I do believe dark times are coming." Link brabbed the vines playfully in his left hand, "Ho ho! thou art dominant in thine left hand, this means a naturall intelligence and aptitude. I see you will influence us all. One day, I predict you will leave us, but when that day comes, It will be for the sake of us all."

Saber - September 20, 2005 05:58 PM (GMT)
why do I bother posting these stories here? no one seems to care T.T

Nearphotison - September 20, 2005 07:58 PM (GMT)
It's not your fault. We're all just too lazy to read something that long. That's why I stopped posting my stories.

QUOTE (Nearphotison @ Sep 20 2005, 02:58 PM)
We're all just too lazy to read something that long.

Actually, I was going to wait until there was more and read it at once. For prose, there isn't really enough here to provide feedback beyond the typical "keep it up", "can't wait for the next part", or "awesome, dude" messages.

Vicious - September 21, 2005 02:06 AM (GMT)
it's not that badly written though. Atleast he has proper grammar.

Saber - September 21, 2005 04:05 AM (GMT)
as chapter one will be about 7 times as log as this, I don't have enough time to write it out while I'm grounded, so please comment now cuz the next one wont be out for 5-6 weeks..

princedrake - September 21, 2005 05:57 PM (GMT)
In that case . . .

Awesome, dude! Keep it up! Can't wait for the next part!

Vicious - September 21, 2005 07:22 PM (GMT)
And where the hell is the completed script of Tenebrous Heavens? :\

Here's a slice of chapter 1...as a teaser.

----

Hello there. My name is Link. At least that's what they tell me. I'm not exactly the most popular of our people. Most other Kokiri don't pay much attention to me. Well, maybe I should first explain what a Kokiri is...

A kokiri is a "child of the forest". Rather we are born and live in the forest yet forever remain children. We live just south of the Lost Woods and under the gaurd of the Great Deku Tree. Another people who live in the forest are our siblings, the Fairies. Every Kokiri has their own fairy gaurdian...that is, except me.

Which brings me back to why no one likes me. I don't have a fairy. I never did. It doesn't bother me much anymore, but the others tend to steer clear. The only one who pays any attention to me is Mido.

And I wish he wouldn't.

Mido is...special...at least in his own mind. He's the self-proclaimed "cheif" of our tribe, though everyone knows the Deku Tree is our leader.

There's also Milo, He once looked so much like Mido that they were dubbed as siblings, though they're nothing alike. Milo is the only one who cares I'm alive really. He's the only friend I've got.

The Deku Tree also seems to take a much larger interest in me than most. It kind of makes me selfconscious.

huh? You think I'm forgetting someone? Well...there is her...
Her name is Saria, She's the greatest most beautiful Kokiri girl in the woods.

What!? No way! Ew, what makes you think I do? I don't feel that way about her!!

...at least...I think I dont..

Well, let me tell you how we met....

Yup! it's in 1st Person frem here on out.

Saber - September 23, 2005 01:18 PM (GMT)

Master Blaster - September 23, 2005 08:11 PM (GMT)
