Sneak Peek No.24/18 - The mystery as to which Buffyverse grad Joss Whedon was considering for Dollhouse has been solved! Early this morning, Whedon announced on his blog that Angel vet Amy Acker is joining the show's cast in the recurring role of Dr. Claire Saunders, the smart yet sad looker-after of the dolls who may or may not have a crush on nerdy programmer Topher (Fran Kranz). Love. It. Whedon also confirmed that Miracle Laurie has been tapped to play plus-sized doll November, whose comforting and radiant presence tends to get her fewer of the criminal gigs and more of the personal ones. No. Clue. Who. She. Is. Source: TV Guide

Latest from Ausiello: Look what I've got — fresh Dollhouse casting prattle! Even better, this performer's name doesn't resemble a word jumble! English actress Olivia Williams has landed the role of Adelle, the Dollhouse's cold and sophisticated leader. She runs things with an efficiency that is both ruthless and protective. In other words, she would die before she showed anyone how lonely she is. Never heard of her, but she sure is perty. She's also got a Wikipedia page, which is always helpful. This just in: OMG, she was Bruce Willis' wife in The Sixth Sense! I approve! Wlliams joins previously announced Dollhouse residents Eliza Dushku, Tahmoh Penikett, Fran Kranz, Dichen Lachman and Enver Gjokaj Source: TV Guide

Dollhouse - Latest from Ausiello: Question: I'm dying for more Dollhouse scoop! BTW, I loved the story you and Ben Katner did pitching actors for the show.— Kacey Ausiello: I'll be curious to see if Joss takes any of our suggestions. I'm sure it's a long shot, especially in light of what he told me back in November when Dollhouse was just announced. "My first instinct is to probably [cast] new people [in Dollhouse], because I'm already reuniting with Eliza and I don't want it to seem like a house party," he said. "I want to make sure people get a fresh feeling from it. But behind the scenes, I will be chasing many writers that I have worked with before because they're the people I trust." Hence Whedon's decision to snap up former Angel scribes Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain the moment they parted ways with Women's Murder Club. Source: TV Guide
