Who else skips the middle part of this book, and only read the parts with Edward?

*raises hand* I do. I can't for the life of me bring me to read the middle part, even though I kind of want to. I'm sure there's some essential information there that I need to brush up on if I'm going to even attempt to call myself a Twilight guru *points to member title*

:o You didn't read the middle of the book?!?! It was good!!! You must read it. It made me actually start to like Jacob. But no matter how big of a Jacob fan I am - I do know that it will always be Edward/Bella in the end. :D

But back on topic, you NEED to read the middle. :nod:

Oh, I HAVE read the middle, once. I just can't bring myself to reread it, lmao. I've reread New Moon once (compared to 4 for Twilight and 3 for Eclipse), and I just couldn't bring myself to read the middle.

I'm a huge Edward fangirl, no doubt about it, and I absolutely hated how Bella heard his voice. Sure, it was sweet in an insane kind of way, and we got to "see" a little of Edward, even though he wasn't really there. But just teasing us like that... and then finding out that he wasn't there at all, that it really was just in her head (I had hoped that his reaction would be "I was there, Bella." but noooo, his reaction had to be one of complete oblivion), well... fail! LMAO!

And not to mention, I thought Bella's pain felt so incredibly real. I could really feel how she was hurting, the pain in her chest and how she desperately tried to hold herself together. It was awful.

But, I liked Jacob in New Moon too. There are some issues I have with him in Eclipse, but I have issues with Edward too, so... it evens out. My heart will always belong to Edward though!

I'm always torn when it comes to New Moon =/ I did like that Jacob was there to keep Bella from completely falling apart, but he's no Edward... And ITA about being disappointed that it turned out he wasnt there at all :( I was sooo hoping he would have been there!
