Title: Atlantis Found--Again
Description: yet another claim

Okay, this is more pop archaeogy--find somethine significant and give it a designation attached to what was really nothing more than a teaching illustration used by Plato to describe a utopian society.

However, the claim of a sunken city found in the Mediterranean is nevertheless interesting. Read it here:

I read about that in the paper before logging on. I think he's found the merest hint of something and now he's busy sensationalizing the find to raise capital for further expeditions.

I wish I was out there with them ;)

The TV news ran that story last night. I don`t know if his claim for those ruins being Atlantis has any merit, but it`s interesting to hear of any archealogical find. w:

Sounds like a find of a life time. I wish him my best.

But he might have jumped the gun alittle by publicly announcing that he found Atlantis before he had more proof. IF he's wrong, then he may never be taken serious again.

Regardless wether he is right or wrong, its still an amazing discovery and should be looked into. Wish I was there!

I saw an interview with him on Good Morning America yesterday and he seems really sure about it which is good because that will get the money rolling in. There is video of it on...

They found hundreds of urns, and a two kilometer long wall. Interesting.

When atlantis is found there will be no question it is the ancient civilization spoken of by Homer.

I have a TV show on tape called Atlantis: Secrets Revealed hosted by Richard Crenna. It says that the island of Malta in the Mediterrenean has clues, and that the island of Bimini has clues. Who knows? It sure is interesting though. det:

I just saw again on cable tv a documentary abot a sunken wall off an island somewhere near Japan that they believe belongs to an ancient civilization. Maybe this could be a pacific Atlantis. p:

Tony,
No, I think your talking about Yonaguni. The site there streatches all the way to Okinawa.
