Here are the first ten books.Which would you rate as a perfect 10?
You can vote for more than one book.

it is hard to pick only one they are all good

Night Probe leading the bunch doesn't suprise me. It was the first Cussler book I read and hooked me. It was the beginning of a long road to the best adventure. Long may it reign kel:

Definately Night Probe for me, I can't think why!! t:

Apparently you can only vote for five or fewer, as the system gave me an error that said I voted for too many. :o

I'm a little less traditional and voted for Med. Caper and the last four. I pulled Iceberg after the system error because I haven't read it in awhile and don't think I would enjoy it as much as I used to now that I've become so accustomed to Al being in the mix.

Hmm, neither can I, Julie. I'm at the part where the NUMA crew is having a little party down on the decks and Foss Gly decides to crash it. Will Pitt's strategy work? Time to get back to reading and find out. :)

Definately Night Probe. It is THE book that brought me to the world of Dirk Pitt.

That's what I have been hearing people say. I read Inca Gold first, so it might be time to go back and read Night Probe hat:

Night Probe, Pacific Vortex, Raise the Titanic, Cyclops and Treasure are definitely top 10's. t: p:

You're being a little generous there, Tony

Foss Gly - June 9, 2005 05:24 PM (GMT)
For me, it's Cylops. I absoulutely adore that book!

tonym5 - June 14, 2005 02:43 AM (GMT)
But they are top 10s!! w: Dragon was an enjoyable read but not one of my favorites. And Med & Iceberg are early books that rank up there but they are of a simpler time. The later ones pack more of a wallop!! p:

I am finding it difficult to say which deserves 10's when they all do...there is something about each one that makes it really good...I read and re-read all the Dirk Pitt books and have favourite bits in each....how can you judge books written by an author who can score 10 on every one he has written...... this was very difficult and unfair.......... w:

Treasure. One of the best novels I have ever read. Dirk Pitt at his best! th: :P
