I was thinking about how I can't wait for Clive's next book tour to happen so I can travel somewhere to see him again. Since Dirk Cussler will be co-writing the next Pitt Adventure I would venture to guess that Clive will bring him along on the next book signing tour. How nice that would be! Any thoughts?

I can see the two Cusslers on the road in the near future promoting the next Dirk Pitt adventure. Dirk Cussler has completed the manuscript for his first book and I for one am looking forward to its publication.

I wonder how their names will be represented on the book cover. Will it be DIRK CUSSLER with CLIVE CUSSLER ??

There's not a lot of pics of Dirk out there, maybe some of our members here could contribute a better picture of our soon to be, new favorite author !

Any news on where and when the next book tour will be??

I emailed Dr Cussler's PR person in early April..the return email stated that Dr Cussler will soon be doing a European book tour..but nothing is slated for Canada. Bummer

How come it seems like his tours are always out west? Why not here in the east?

I've often wondered the same thing! I don't have the money to go trapsing around the US! ;)

I have heard that one of the reasons he avoids the east coast is due to the cold weather which he hates. The times it has been cold there might have coincided with when his book tours were. I'm sure that's not the only reason, but its one of the things I have heard from his former PR person Carole B.

I was told a while ago that Clive plans to do a book tour in the East this summer but I have no details yet. I will dig into that though.
