Title: 3 books need a home
Vixen - December 21, 2004 10:43 AM (GMT)
Sahara (PB)
Atlantis Found (HB)
Serpent (TPB)
While I have rescued these from impending trash heaps I do not have the room to keep them. So if anyone needs a copy please let me know.
MrKABC - December 22, 2004 01:17 AM (GMT)
How could you not have room for Clive Cussler books? (curious)
Vixen - December 22, 2004 02:47 AM (GMT)
I have my collection on the headboard and am running out of room(I only have 2 shelves there) I can put them on the top shelf of a crowded bookcase to be forgotten.
I just wanted to share the bounty. My sister had Atlantis Found for a while, I do not think she read it, and sent me another Sahara. I I keep them around and not loose them then I will donate them to the kids school library but that is a ways away.
ShadowAvalon - December 22, 2004 02:58 AM (GMT)
Has anyone taken an interest in the Sahara book yet?
ShadowAvalon - December 23, 2004 12:08 AM (GMT)
would you PM me with more info on how to get the Sahara, please.
Vixen - December 25, 2004 01:09 AM (GMT)
Negotiations are underway so if any fall through i will post with an update.

Sahara still needs a home.

Vixen, I am trying to collect all of the Cussler books in Hardcover, I have everything from Cyclops to Dark wind except Atlantis Found. I would love to add it to my collection. Please email me at JetLink7@aol.com with some info if it is still available, thank you very much. - Greg.

I am sorry AF has a home already. Sahara just went off to its new home also.
If I run across future copies I will post that they are available.

Used bookstores are the way to go for HB Cussler's th: I bet you find AF there!

Thanks, I've found that to be true, but for some reason I haven't found Atlantis Found for some reason, even though it's really not that old.

I found this AF at the library, problem was it had 'WITHDRAWN' stamped all over it. Was not pretty but still reads. I have become the Rescue Ranger when it comes to CC's books being tossed.

Sahara arrived at it's new home this morning ;)

I was fortunate enough to buy 4 DP books for $9 at a flea market. Had to dig through boxes of books but found some paperbacks in pretty good condition. Good luck with your search!

Glad Sahara made it home. If I come across more and do not want to keep them I will pass them onward. Thanks everyone.

I have the best luck for finding Cussler books here in Austin. If anybody needs anything at all please let me know. I can usually find them all including the audio and CD Cussler books. I was telling a fellow member yesterday that I picked up Treasure in Mint condition on tape as well as an autographed 1st. edition of Atlantis Found. Please if you need anything at all let me know and I'll do my best! Julie

My girlfriend is teaching in Austin and I went to visit her the first week in January. We had planned on going to a really nice used bookstore but she caught the flu that day. Austin's not too bad though. Haha, that's my story. th:

Hi, you could try www.indigo.ca to find it. If memory serves it should only cost around $8 or 10 (Cdn.) for the hardcover. If you're in or close to Canada go to a Coles/Chapters/Indigo bookstore and they should be able to order it or have it in stock. It's considered a "bargain book" now at these stores so it might take a little bit of time before it would arrive!

Sorry Julie. When I got back and started reading posts again one of the first ones I read mentioned that you lived in Austin. Arrg. She's there for two years (minus the summer) so I imagine I'll be back down at some point. For now, enjoy the weather without me (it's 6 degrees F here in Michigan yike: ).
