January 06, 2005 - Hot on the heels of yesterday's Sahara photos comes the revealing of that film's new theatrical poster. The attractive one-sheet features the film's stars Matthew McConaughey (Dirk Pitt), Penelope Cruz (Eva Rojas), and Steve Zahn (Al Giordino). A larger version of the poster can be found at Coming Soon.
Sahara is the first major movie to be directed by Breck Eisner, son of Disney CEO Michael Eisner. It was adapted from the best-selling novel by Clive Cussler, and Cussler's daughter, Dayna, has an acting part in the film – in spite the legal disagreements that persist between Cussler and Paramount regarding the screenplay.
Sahara opens March 25th.

Beautiful!!!!! I will be pestering my friends at movies theaters for that poster. If all else fails I'll grab a hundred of them at my movie store!!

I like the poster and will see the movie no matter what I hear about it ahead of time, so I can judge stuff for myself! ...

Just down the street from me is a corner store which has a small video section.I happened to notice that they have the large posters on the wall so I asked the owner what he does with them.He told me he sells them so I asked him to hold the Sahara one for me.All he asked me to do was to remind him.Like he had to ask me to do that,I'll be in there from the 25th onwards every day bugging him.
