Clive Cussler: I don't think so. I've pretty much tapped out all the interesting wrecks we've looked for. Maybe someday -- I mean, I haven't given up. I spent three weeks recently looking for John Paul Jones' ship the Bonhomme Richard in the North Sea and didn't find it. That's about the fourth time I've looked for it. I'd hate to give up on that -- it took me off and on fifteen years to find the Hunley.

In browsing I came across this page and am so pleased with its content. I gave my wholehearted permission for these pictures to be used but didn't think they would be so big, not that I object you understand. th:

I have a small relationship with Dr. Cussler and we swap e-mails from time to time. I was shocked to hear of his health problems but was glad to receive an e-mail from Dr. Cussler telling me he is slowly on the mend and looking forward to getting over here in July in the next phase for the search the elusive "Bonhomme Richard", I am looking forward to meeting with him.

I am in a unique position that I have been able to provide Dr. Cussler and his team with some very helpful research, local contacts have worked throughout the winter to locate someone who has some very reliable information. I am hoping that this time Dr. Cussler will find th remains of the wreck, although I will miss his visits immensely if he finds his quarry. t:

I will of course keep everyone informed of progress and wish you all the very best.
