Description: Sahara Trailer

Last night, when I saw Meet the Fockers, the first trailer that came up was that of Sahara!! It was the first time I'd seen it other than here. It was the exact same as on the website. Looks good.

Then what would you do? Travel to another country where it will be playing? Or even worse, wait til it comes out on DVD???

Just seen the theatrical trailer on apple.com and i'm worried, as i'm sure Clive himself is.

Have they taken a too humorous approach with gordino? Is Pitt to carefree and action hero instead of the calculating cool character in the books? And whats happened to Sandeckers Red Van Dyke Beard?

Worried

Very Very Worried

We can only hope that the story doesn't deviate too much from the original and that the trailer is a poor example of the movie in general.

Dear worried,

Let's not fret just yet. No character translates perfectly to the screen. I hope that MM at least read "Sahara" before he came up with a character personality. He has been very good in most of the other stuff I have seen.

Steve Zahn, on the other hand, will only capture the wiseass side of Al. He isn't physically capable of playing him, neither in looks nor strength. I just pray he surprises us.

I will be the first one on line, and the first one to mourn if they screw this up.

What I wouldn't give to talk DP with CC for an afternoon.

Al G (aka Brian) <_<

I sat next to someone on an airplane once who kinda looked like CC and made me think of what it would be like if it really were him. Woulda been sweet, that's for sure. Ah well.

Alright here's what you do. Buy a 5x5x5ft box for shipping and stuff yourself in that with enought food and water to survive for 1 week. Make sure you also bring oxygen for the flight over. Then call ups and tell them to pickup a package on your front door and prepay for it. Then get in with all your stuff and dress warm for it's very cold at 30,000 feet. Make sure to ship yourself to a friend in the US of A and then see the movie in america. Where do I get these ideas? They say i'm gifted.

Wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to buy a ticket?
