Title: Any Author's Available?
Description: Post on behalf of rowan

Kellym - January 11, 2005 12:15 PM (GMT)
I received an e-mail from Steve (rowan) last night telling me about an idea for a story he had which is below and although he does think the idea will work especially as a short story he feels he hasn't the time to commit to writing it himself and give it the attention the story would deserve, he did wonder whether certain forum members would be interesting in writing it, I of course urged him to ask those members after further discussion it was decided that I would make a post on his behalf so here I am. I think this could make an interesting story so I'll now stop my rambling and give you the idea ;)

Steve's Idea

I was reading the author ideas and the St. Julien Perlmutter spin-off as a Nero Wolfe type story struck a chord. Perhaps while viewing some historical documents in London or Italy-wherever he runs across a reference only he can appreciate with his background. h e knows this combined with his reference material at home proves the existence of say the sword of Arthur thereby proving the Camelot legend? He hires a wreck diver with a past of his own and together they find the relics; sword, helmet, shield...and bad guys are of course thrown in for good measure. Plot twist-relics are found on a sunken Inca war canoe in a central American bay.

Anybody interesting in taking this idea and creating a very interesting story?

I introduced St. Julien's grandson, Nicholas into my Mars Fire story and will give him his own adventures and maybe i could do a combination of Nicholas and his grandfather involved in adventures. Anyone interested in something like that?

That's a pretty intruiging idea with a lot of potential.
I couldn't do an idea like that justice, but this board has enough talent that someone could run with this. Here's hoping someone does!

What would the title be?
I love the idea of Arthur and Camelot.

With Perlmuter involved, something like 'Dining with King Arthur' seems appropriate! :D

Hi, I'm not quite sure how this works, I'm very interested in attempting something like this. Do we just put our submission as a post in this topic?
