Well, we have been talking about our favorite books, but what is your favorite moment in the books?

The part when DP shoves Madame Bougainville down the elevator shaft of the WTC in "Deep Six"

Sahara - Al" Ding Dong the witch is dead" re: Melika as he shoots her coldly in the stomach\

Shock Wave - Tie between when Al says "If she wins , shoot her" when he comes in to handle Boudicca, and when Pitt tells him that he called it when they see Boudicca finally.

So many good moments
Al (aka Brian)

The two that immediately come to mind are from RTT. The moment she breaks the surface and the reception as she finally reaches New York.

Pitt*Very observant for a cretin* to Foss Gly on Cayo Santa Maria

One of my favs is Pitt and Maeve on Gladiator Island when she dies in his arms.Sad but so well written it brings tears to my eyes every time I read it.
There are so many and so little time

The part where Maeve dies is one of my sentimental favorites too, it was very well written. Although it isn't really a moment, my favorite part of Clive's books are all the witty quips between Dirk and Al, as well as towards their adversaries whenever they are in a bind.

One of my favourite moments is in Sahara when they meet up with the old fellow, Dirk asks his name and on hearing it is "Cussler" he replies....don't I know you.....you feel you want to scream...know him...you wouldn't exist without him!!!!!..... but there are so many good parts many in each book....... it is difficult to pinpoint any one...but I do love it when Cussler writes himself in and Dirk (who is supposed to be bright and withit)....never notices, what a good angle to the story.....
