I've seen a number of specials on the Discovery and National Geographic Channels about this being one of the most dangerous jobs in the world. Snow crab season (opelio crab) has opened and already there have been 4 deaths. CNN reported this this morning.

I watched a program on National Geographic about Dangerous Jobs. I think flight deck crew on board Aircraft Carriers was the 3rd most dangerous, Crab Fishing was the 2nd and if I remember correctly the most dangerous job was...................................................................................................................
