For those who are interested, Nat'l Geographic has released a new article regarding the loss of the German Luxury Liner S.S. General Von Steuben.
In February, 1945 the Steuben was en-route to western Germany carrying approx. 5,200 Refugees, wounded military personnel and crew when she was ripped apart by two torpedoes fired form Soviet submarine S-13. (S-13 had previously sunk the Wilhelm Gustloff on Jan. 30th of that same year).
