What did everyone think of the commercial for "Sahara"? It's the first one I've seen. I thought it was good but I was a little disappointed that they didn't make mention of it being from a Clive Cussler novel. I wonder how much it cost to run during the "big game"; is that a good sign or a bad sign. I remember hearing something about the studio (don't remember which one) pouring big advertising bucks into promoting "Godzilla" after they previewed it and thought it was a stinker....of course I'm hoping it's great. I grew up reading Clive's books and always imagined Tom Selleck at the perfect Dirk but alas, he's grown too old; (fortunately, I've remained ageless). I will be delighted if MM pulls it off..... t:

I'd hate to be the company who paid 2.4 million to have their ad shown at the beginning of halftime when everyone was up using the bathroom or getting more snacks. :unsure: Fortunately the Sahara add came at an opportune time during a climatic part of the game. Hopefully a lot of people were still up and watching at that point.
