I was thumbing through a magazine at the Dr.'s office the other day and came across an article about son's taking over the family business, ie writing best selling novels. The first was about Anne McCaffrey's son Todd who has been collaborating with his mom on her books in order to take over all together. Anne McCaffrey wrote Dragonsblood. Then the article says that

Another son who has taken over writing for his dad: Brian Herbert son of Frank Herbert who wrote the Dune series. He is writing six prequels to the Dune story with Kevin J. Anderson.
