Title: Entry No4 ... BETRAYAL

Captain Nemo - February 16, 2005 01:32 AM (GMT)
Betrayal

Dirk Pitt slowly drew the black velvet aside to discover it hid a surreal chamber that was draped and covered in exotic materials. On a bed in the center of the misty and scented room, a half naked woman lay on her side with her legs drawn up almost into a foetal position. Dirk's heart skipped a beat as he recognised the woman that he had carried to his apartment a few nights ago after their encounter on the beach.

Dirk looked around warily as he approached the bed, his footfalls silenced by the thick shaggy carpet that swirled about his feet. He stood over her and stared longingly at her curvaceous body as his blood pumped wildly through his veins. Instinctively, he reached out with his hand and smoothed her crimson hair over her forehead and down past her ear.

Dirk didn't hear the assailant approach. He felt a sickening thud to the back of his head and then his vision of Summer disolved into blackness. Giordino looked down at his unconscious friend then dropped the wrench from his right hand. The disturbance caused Summer to awaken and she started to scream as she focussed in on the stocky Italian standing over a crumpled body. Giordino quickly covered Summer's open mouth and raised his finger to his lips and slowly she relaxed as she felt an incredible strength as his hardened body lowered onto hers. Overwhelming feelings swept through Summer. She felt both excited and timid as the muscular intruder sapped her self control and took her to a place that no man had ever taken her to before.

Dirk slowly gained consciousness and found himself tied up on the floor of a large room with an oval shaped window. The giant Delphi looked down upon him and then over to man tied up beside him. Dirk glanced to his right and saw a bloodied and battered Giordino bound hand and foot. It was a pitiful sight and Dirk was hell bent on taking revenge for what they did to his partner.
