Title: Which book is this????
Description: Trying to figure out which book this is

Greetings all. I am a new member and like everyone else, have thoroughly loved each and every Clive Cussler book, especially the Dirk Pitt novels. I believe I have all but Black Wind at this point. I am trying to put all my volumes together in one collection and plan on re-reading them again one by one. MY reason for this post is this: I am positive that one of the books started ( after the usual prologue in the past), with Dirk Pitt and Al in a speedboat race somewhere. Something happened that made a crash inevitable. In typical Pitt fashion however, Dirk does something that causes the boat to dive under the boat it was going to hit, saving his and Al's life. Tell me please...... Which book is this???? HELP!!! lol

THANKS EVERYONE!!!!! Blue Gold..... I should have known. I am sitting here in my office looking at the stack of Cussler books right now and there it is at the bottom of the third stack lol. I maintain an informal Library here at work of around 150 of my personal books for anyone to borrow. It is quite popular. The Cussler ones seem to go out the most (naturally). Anyway, looking forward to participating more in the forum. I have yet to read Black Wind and am looking forward to that also. Thanks again.

I just imagine everyone in the office sitting around reading Cussler books instead of doing their work!
