Read some Jack du Brul books.... ;)

I think it will be good.Jack is a good writer.But I think it take away from Mercer alittle.I can't wait till the next one.

I did manage to get my hands on one of his books, Lat and I have started reading it but I still get bored :lol:

Have read one Jack DuBrul book so I imagine he will do a good job with the Oregon books. It won't be the same of course but he will do a good job because he does have the credentials and hopefully Dr. C set out the parameters for Jack to follow.

Actually I just bought Robert Ludlum's Bourne Legacy, written by Eric Van Lustbader. And if I had not already read Van Lustbader's novels already I would not have trusted him writing a Ludlum novel. Eric Van Lustbader is a very good writer. I would even recommend him to write for Dr. C!!! w:

I have that one too. I've read about the first 70 pages and enjoyed. However, I never read Ludlum, so I don't know how good they are in comparison.

I really think Dirgo and Dr Cussler made a good pair for the Oregon Files. I don't know how well DuBrul will do. I'm reading River of Ruin right now, and it's ok. But I don't know if he will be able to handle the more complicated plots of the Oregon Files.

I think Du Brul will do great. I have all his books and have been waiting for the next one. His story lines are much like CCs and are just as action packed. And also like CCs
a little hard to swallow. Ahem.
