More recent movies Dirk, The Shawshank Redemption I thought that it was an old movie too. But I guess it's because I read the book a long time ago.
I do enjoy thrillers or even horror. One of them being Final Destination ( 1 and 2 )
BTW, great forum !

One of my all time favorite movies that I recently watched again was called "Papillion" with Steve McQueen and Dustin Hoffman. I never get sick of watching that movie.
NUMA_Diver - March 16, 2004 04:23 PM (GMT)
My all-time favorite movies have been the Indiana Jones trilogy. I also loved the original Star Wars trilogy, First Blood (not the others), Braveheart, and most anything that stars either Mel Gibson or Sean Connery....to name a few..

I like action movies, weather old or new, and comedys.
Anything with Jack Nickolson. Anger Management was good.
I don't like dealing with the crowds at the movies, so I spent a ton of money on
a home theater system and buy the DVDs when they come out. Much better
this way.

I dont generally advertise a movie, as we all have very different tastes, but there is one that I would like to bring to everyones attention. Its a movie i didnt really hear about, that I thought was great. and have watched it twice now in one week.
Secondhand Lions with Michael Cain, Robert Duvall, and Haley Joel Osmont in his best role ever.
I really recomend it, its a really good drama/comedy for the whole family.
Enjoy!

loves comedy, action, drama, romance. the movies i have seen over and over; paper moon with tatum o'neal, poseidon adventure. i don't like horror, thrillers. i am very particular with sci fi movies. and my pet peeves; a soundtrack that overwhelms a movie like sleepless in seattle, small credits (i am a habitual credits watcher). love going to drive-ins, cinema's, renting videos/dvd's and now that i have had digital cable for a while now where you can pick a movie and watch a movie on your own time. the best movies are those that have comedy. romance, action, drama all together.
