Just wondering if anyone has ever listened to this song released by Iron Maiden back in the 80's I believe. It is approx. 13 minutes long and quotes Coleridge's poem many times. I didn't see a previous post on this and thought I would try and add a little to the board.
If you haven't listened to it yet, you may want to read the lyrics while listening to it the first time (very fast tempo!!) and a great song in my opinion. Anyway, here's a link to the lyrics. If you can get the song downloaded, give it a shot. I have it on my pc (big file) not sure if I can load it onto this site though..??
ADMIN EDIT: Link was removed due destination website was virus/adware infected.
Released on the Powerslave album in 1984.It also has spoken quotes from the poem interspersed within the song. The live version from Live After Death is the better version IMHO.

Great!! Sorry about that.
Haven't heard the live version yet. I have had the Powerslave album since about 88. Senior English teacher even let me bring it in when we studied the poem.
RAMNew link to the lyrics....... :)
