I've been a Clive Cussler fan ever since I read his book "Raising The Titanic", and have been hook on Dirk Pitt novels. In the movie Shara I have to admit the beggining keep me glued to my seat. The realiasism of the civil war and the cinematogrphy on the ironclad Texas taking artillery shells was just awesome. As I have read from most of the replys here in the forum "Yes" the actor who plays Al does not meet with Mr. Cusslers discripton of Al. But the interaction between Al and Dirk was in my opioion for most of the move on the mark. Yes they did not use the aspect of the President Lincoln. The thing that you have to remember in a movie is you only have so much time, were in a book, it's up to the reader how long it will take. Over all the move gets a three star.
