I was wondering what the relationship the Co-Authors have when it comes to co-writing with Clive Cussler.

Does it mean CC writes the book and the co-author "touches" it up ?
Does it mean that CC touches it up ?
Does it mean that co-author is only using the CC name to attract CC fans ?

In all honesty, I havent read any non-Dirk Pitt adventures so I don't know what the style of writing is like (i.e Kurt Austin)

Can anyone give me an insight to what the "with" Author has on the CC book.

I can only speculate from various conversations over the years - but I think the way it works is the author and Clive flesh out the plot, characters, and theme of the book ahead of time - but the co-author actually researches & writes the book. Clive will then make comments and critique along the way.
