I'm a bit of a model nut!!
Since a child boats and water have been in my blood hense tons of pics and models littering the house (Wife loves me NOT).
So I wonder if this film makes a hit and I really hope if Mr C says go it does, I wonder what the shops will come out with, caracatures I don't like but good di casts or a model of a certain sporty power cruiser would go down well.
What would you like to see and be able to buy as a keep sake?

Well, if we're talking models here, how about the confederate ironclad "Texas", the hi-tech, super sport yacht "Calliope" and the "Fairchild FC-2W" monoplane that Kitty Mannock flew.

Cheers ;)

TKO partners push project forward

NDL, a 3D graphics technology developer for the computer and video game industry, has licensed Gamebryo to use in TKO Software Inc.’s production of an action adventure PlayStation2 game based on the upcoming movie "Sahara".
"Partnering with NDL was an ideal solution for this project because of their proven track record and the extensive knowledge and experience of their technical support team," said Jacob Hawley, president and chief executive officer of Santa Cruz-based TKO Software. "It was crucial that we deliver a multiplatform title at the same time as the movie launch. Licensing Gamebryo for the PlayStation2 will help us to deliver Sahara on schedule."

Sahara is an upcoming film from Paramount Pictures and Crusader Entertainment based on one of a series of best-selling books by Clive Cussler. The movie stars Matthew McConaughey, Penelope Cruz and Steve Zahn.

Gamebryo is a graphics engine, providing tools to help companies generate 3-D graphics without sacrificing development time creating gaming features. It’s been used in the creation of computer and video games for the personal computer, Xbox, PlayStation2 and GameCube.
