I hope that this posting is featured in the correct arena as I pondered whether it should be in this forum or the NUMA froum as it is related to both I have chosen this forum, anyway here goes.
Hello All
I thought I would send in a short message relating to Dr. Cussler’s search for the ill – fated “Bonhomme Richard”. When I woke this morning I was glad to see the vessel “Ocean Dancer” berthed on the quayside opposite us. I was not expecting the vessel for another couple of weeks, but glad nonetheless. It was not long before the dockside crane was loading a diving compressor and supplies. I have a unique vantage pint being able to see what is happening on the water and saw Dirk arrive. :)
Later in the day I called over at the vessel and was quite pleased that not only did the skipper recognise me but even remembered my name. We were soon engaged in conversation and had quite a conversation before we were joined by Dirk who had gone for more remedial supplies. I enquired about his father and if he knew when Dr. Cussler might be over. It would seem that Dr. Cussler is doing quite well and he is expected to come over later in the expedition (the vessel working in and out of the port for the next six weeks).
I was invited onboard but as the ship had only been here for the day I felt that there would be a better time to go aboard. Dirk told me that they were planning on going on the last of the tide at 1700hrs, however they had not made the last bridge opening. It may be that they wanted a little more of the available daylight to be better prepared and might be gone when on the early tide in the morning. I made my farewells wishing them the best of luck in their endeavours and before leaving Dirk invited me back when the come back in, in around a weeks time.

A new book sounds quite good, I would play myslef in the movie but with my patch i am concerned about being stereotyped as a pirate. Although if anything was ever to come of it, I would of course be more than happy :)

A pirate would be good Colin. It's harder to be a bad guy than a good one and some one has to do it. p:
