Fascinating!
I don't often think of the Great Lakes as "the high seas", but they sure have some of the most tumultuous waters in the world. There are a great many shipwrecks like the Ben Noble and the Edmund Fitzgerald just waiting to be discovered.

I have books about the Shipwrecks of Lake Superior and Gordon Lightfight couldn't have said it any better in his song, especially the part "Superior it's said never gives up her dead" I think there are something like 10,000 shipwrecks there.

The great Lake shipwrecks are to many to count. If you spent a lifetime diving for them you couldn't find them all. More are being found every summer. And you know what that mean! MORE BOOKS!!!!!!!!!!

It's always great to hear a sunken ship is found! Even though they should be left alone, it awakens the pirate in me with gold a gleamin' in my eye! p:
