This is a really good story to follow. It illustrates the link between naturally occuring 'pollution' and the impact of human activity, specifically fertilizer run-off.

Gulf of Mexico Dead Zone

I just read the other day that Lake Erie has a couple of Dead zones with low oxygen counts. snor:

When will people ever learn that the waters of this world are our life. " Dead Zones" are unaccectable. Our food chains are affected, our fishermen are affected and so on down the line. Companies need to do their part in preserving our enviroment. :wub:
