OMG!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!HEHEHEHE!!!!!!! Those are sooooo good!!!!! Sorry, I get a little too excited sometimes......I love your choice for Summer in Pacific Vortex, it's Kate Beckinsale right? How do you create these posters, is it a special program you have to buy??? If you could write back with the info. that would be GREAT! Again super job! th:

It would be absolutely amazing if these movies are actually made with the actresses pictured!!
andyhuff - August 11, 2005 07:24 PM (GMT)
Thanks for the comments, guys! And thanks to Cusslermen for hosting my pics. Dear_Heart05, I use Adobe Photoshop to make all of the posters; its such an awesome program!
I'll be working on a couple more in the next few days or so. I want to make posters for each of Clive's Dirk Pitt novels. Maybe you guys could even come up with a dream cast for the Kurt Austin or Oregon adventures and we could all imagine what it might be like...
Thanks again!
- Andy
P.S. yeah, that is Kate Beckinsale in Pacific Vortex... :)
Empress - August 11, 2005 08:20 PM (GMT)
Ummmmm.......shouldn't the Empress of Ireland be in Night Probe PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree the posters make me feel like the movies are already made, I got goosebumps!! Beautiful job!!!!
Juan Cabrillo - August 11, 2005 11:38 PM (GMT)
Andy,
Great job!
How about a poster with David James Elliott as Dirk Pitt? (Jag tv fame)
loren1 - August 12, 2005 10:58 AM (GMT)
Awesome work!!!! If only some one pays attention and could make these movies. What a way to complete our collections. t:
fossgly - August 12, 2005 06:00 PM (GMT)
How about this one for Night Probe!?
Foss Gly - August 12, 2005 09:14 PM (GMT)
Looks good, Mister Gly. (seems weird I get to say that). Interesting casting choice of Michael Caine (you need to add an "E" at the end of his name....)
th:
fossgly - August 12, 2005 09:49 PM (GMT)
My apologizes to Mr. Caine. I picked him for Brian Shaw because I thought Sean Connery was just a little too on the mark.

Isn't that the truth...
Empress - August 13, 2005 01:36 AM (GMT)
That's getting much better, I think the Empress should be bigger and the train should be in the background.
I'm a serious pain in the you know what aren't I!
boissee - August 13, 2005 02:03 AM (GMT)
NO,NO,NO,NO,NO,NO,NO,NO Jennifer Anniston in a Dirk Pitt Flick! Even pretend ones! Especially not Raise the Titanic! yike:
tonym5 - August 13, 2005 05:16 AM (GMT)
Thank you Boissee!!!! I totally agree about not having Jennifer Aniston in a Dirk Pitt movie.
hiramyaegar - August 13, 2005 01:51 PM (GMT)
Those are some great posters. My favorite has to be the Inca Gold one. Great work. I hope to see some more!
Sandecker Fan - August 13, 2005 09:56 PM (GMT)
Those are awesome...Hopefully if they make the movies they'll be as great as the posters we've seen here.

Thanks for the comments! I actually wasn't entirely thrilled with the "Serpent" poster, but I'm working on one for Blue Gold that I think will rock your face off!
- Andy
Kellym - August 17, 2005 09:19 PM (GMT)
Should we be worried? Seriously though the Serpent poster is great so don't beat yourself up.

Interesting choice for Kurt Austin.
Who is the woman in the Inca Gold poster? I recognize her but can't put a name with the face.

Can't be! She looks very different then in Stealth. Maybe its the lack of flightsuit...

I'm telling you it is.
andyhuff - August 21, 2005 11:59 PM (GMT)
Yes, that is Jessica Biel in the Inca Gold poster. She was awesome in
Blade: Trinity and I thought she'd make a strong Pitt Girl.
Speaking of
Blue Gold...

Enjoy! ;)

Nice work fossgly. I really like the look of that one.
Nick Kismet - August 25, 2005 10:53 PM (GMT)
I'd like to go on record with saying that Sean Bean is an excellent choice for Kurt Austin...he'd be an excellent choice for almost any leading role in any movie. A great, underrecognized talent. I hate that he's always a villain.
maybe you should get into casting Andy!
hiramyaegar - August 25, 2005 11:06 PM (GMT)
He has done quite a few excellent roles - Lord of the Rings, Bravo Two Zero, National Treasure, etc.
Click for a more complete list.
Empress - August 26, 2005 12:59 AM (GMT)
I adore Sean Bean, I will watch him 24/7 no matter what role he plays. Since I am a Tolkien fanatic I loved him and he really wasn't a villian.
