Anyone seen the ads for the new flick "The Forty Year-old Virgin"??
In one of the prominent ads for the movie a pretty lady (that the title character of the movie is interested in) is putting up a display for Clive's novel Black Wind, including a huge image of the book's cover mounted on a wall that is poster-sized.
I chuckled at the unusal product-placement.

I've only seen 1 or 2 trailers for that, so I never noticed that. An odd form of advertising....

I've seen the movie, and that is in there. I chuckled myself. And by the way, it hilarious, i highly recommend it. Also wedding crashers, i laughed hard enough it hurt in both of them.

You know what is so sad? I worked at a bookstore here in Florida for eight months, and I never once read any Cussler books. My boyfriend and his father both kept recommending the novels to me, but I was in the middle of a different series. It wasn't until around the trailers for Sahara started coming out that I started to read the books!!! When I went back to my old store to find a CC book, I saw that there were only a few of his books!!! Most of them weren't even there?!?!?! That's funny that that was in the movie though!!

A real sub-liminal message -- Ha! That was pretty funny for THAT movie!
I think 'Dirk' would be amused at the thought...
