We love the Dirk Pitt novels. However, in Trojan Odyssey how did the hurricane "Lizzie",heading due EAST (pg 107) cross the Navidad Bank, Haiti, and Dom.Republic. Then turn South EAST(pg149) and hit Nicaragua's east coast??
We live on the Gulf Coast and that jumped right off the page. Hurricanes originating off the coast of Africa, cannot reach the Caribbean by tracking EAST.
Proof Readers be ashamed.
:o Talking about direction and proofreaders, I still haven't figured out the flight path of the airship in White Death.... wish someone would draw a map. When I read it, it feels as if it went up in the air, and came down to earth in the same place.
I seem to remember a whole thread dedicated to the uselessness of Clive's editors sometimes in the Black Wind subforum. In addition to many grammatical errors, there are the logic-goofs such as the ones you're describing. It's really just a shame, if you ask me.

That's a good thread too, Kelly, but I was thinking of this one
HERE, and specifically my comment in it.
