Title: Clive and the Titanic!

Empress - October 4, 2005 02:23 AM (GMT)
This is along the lines of Michelle's story with her kids. Addy (my daughter) loves the Titanic and she has fallen in love with Harry Chapins' song "Dance Band on the Titanic". She was singing the song in the car today and when Harry said "Even God couldn't sink this ship!", Addy piped in with "But he did!!"

After I was done laughing she looked at me and said "Mommy, when is Clive Cuss-a-ler going to put a band-aid on the Titanic so I can see her?" I told her it would take more than a band-aid to fix her. She sat there for a minute and said "Ok, I'll send the Empress of Ireland to help her." I told her that the Empress of Ireland was underwater like the Titanic. She said "Ohhh, she's sleeping with the fishes too."

We left it at that!

That's scary, so the same person that stole my truck with Inca Gold in it, followed us up to Arlington and then stole your Blue Gold??!!! It's gotta be a Gold thing!

Mental note to self: Do not read Med. Caper Large Print or Iceberg Dodd-Mead in Texas in public ANYWHERE!!!!!

PS- I do have an extra copy of Blue Gold, that isn't yours  , that I can send to you!!

Too cute. My daughter turns one next week. She is already a Cussler fan. I use it for bedtime stories sometimes.
