Title: Two authors, two styles
Description: Did you notice a difference?

I finally finished BW, and was dissappointed. It was no longer of "Cussler" quality.

And I got the feel that the book really had two authors.. At times i felt ok,, this seems Cussler-like, then later the feel just evaporated and the writing really just sucked.

I for one, will no longer be purchasing new DP books, but get them on loan from friend or library.. I will now start my mission to first buy all the preceeding books in hardback,, then maybe one day 1st editions... :)

Still love the old ones!!

I didn't really notice a difference, myself. Perhaps if I knew for sure which parts each author wrote then I would be able to look for subtle differences, but to me it was pretty seemless. Plus, the book itself was worlds better than the two before it: Trojan Odyssey and Valhalla Rising.

Phew,

I had thought it was just me.............. although I did enjoy the book, i could certainly distinguished where Clive stopped and Dirk took over. It's a Real shame as I usually enjoy Cusslers books, oh well back to inca gold to rekindle my faith
