When I worked at Borders in Winter Park, Florida...I met this amazing guy. His name is, Terrence Tysall. He started a foundation to help teach others about the oceans. We talked all the time when he would come in. Every December he and members from his foundation go to the Borders in Winter Park to raise money for the group. They wrap presents and accept donations. I just thought I would post it here, since it has to do with both the oceans and Clive Cussler.... check the site out. It's very interesting!!

Very interesting website sharkluver! I also have the M. Scott Carpenter books myself. I remember him from the early days of Space Exploration as an NASA Astronaut. Those were the days! Ah, the memories. I still love our space program and hate those who think we are wasting money on it. It is part of human nature to Explore, whether it be the Oceans or Outer Space. Though in my mind they are one great Ocean together! snor:

I just found it amazing that Clive Cussler knew and was friends with Terrence Tysall! Here I am talking to Terry all the time...and he knows Clive! I hadn't even started reading the series yet! Oh well...

Clive Cussler is part of many people's live and I can't imagine anyone who has an intrest in the oceans and ships not knowing about him. :lol:
