It took me forever to get the fire right. I also love the fact that there's no Dirk Pitt or Al Giordino on the poster. I think the boat is such a striking image on its own.

Holy moley. Talk about an amazing picture! The image is attention grabbing, and the person at the bow is a "nice" touch. Amzing work, as always, Andy!

Say what you want about the book, but I think the opening sequence of the ocean liner rescue would make an incredible scene in a movie. I might work on a screen capture of what it might be like to see the NUMA research ship appear alongside the burning cruise ship, one of the most incredible images in the book.

yike: if attempting do do a poster myself can I use pics i find on the net or wood that be copyrite. I am a watercolourist but would like to try my hand.
