I have just finished this book. It has taken over two weeks nearly three, now if I like a book and really get into it it can take one day or two days, but this one was very hard to enjoy. I skipped a lot of the desriptions they were too boring and long winded. I was glad to finish it, now if I like a book I regret finishing the story. I want to start another one now, am going to read Valhalla Rising. I hope this one keeps my interest more.

I agree with you. The descriptions of the submersible's activities (when Dirk and Summer were retrieving the canisters for one) were a little long-winded for me but the action stories/events were just as exciting.
