I'm guessing Empress will be able to answer this but I was just reading about the EoI project to keepp artifacts within Canada. Just wondering how this project was going, the page seemed to be 2 years old.

Sorry to keep posting in this area, I have a lot of things floating around in my head to dowith ship wrecks etc and they occasionally come to the surface....so to speak.

Don't apologize for posting in any forums, especially this one, it's my favorite as well. I will be able to give you an indept answer to that one when I get back from the 100 year celebration of the launching of the Ireland and Britain. I could put you in contact with the people who are responsible for the artifacts and how they are trying to keep them all there, they are wonderful!! I keep an eye out for them here in the states and try to make sure nothing is sold from her across the US border. She is my fav. ship and I want all the Artifacts to stay in Canada with her. I have bought 3 artifacts from her that were brought up before 1980 (means I got them legally) and I have talked to Artifact comittee and asked if they want them back.

That's really interesting. How did you come by the artifacts? And how do you watch for them being sold over the border? (I'm just sitting here at my work desk wondering how I would be able to do that and I came up blank... :lol: )

Are there certain websites or auction houses that you would frequent? I'm just overly curious. I guess I should be named George!
