Ok, I have been bogging down my own mind for weeks trying to figure out which of Clive Cusslers books is the best. So i figured that i would ask everyones opinions, it can be and of his books from any series, just your opinion on which you liked the best and why...For me I haven't found anything that has beat Sahara yet. It was just written so well, and the storyline was amazing. It was the quickest 500 pages i ever read, and i enjoyed every second. So what does everyone else think????

I've always felt Deep Six was Clive's very best. From what I can tell, people either love it or hate it, but I found the Washington poltics (inall there nastiness)very compelling, I loved the return of Loren Smith to a significant role in Pitt's life, and especially loved the image of Pitt and the civil war hobbyists battling the bad guys on the Stonewall Jackson.

Deep Six introduced some things that would become hallmarks of later books--a classic car gets destroyed, St. Julien makes his first appearance...I'm sure there are others, but this one remains my favorite

Hmm, tricky question, I love them all. I've always said that Treasure is my favourite but Inca Gold and Sahara are up there too.
