Gotta love media, here is the same story on CNN about the same ferry but look closely at the one Patty posted and the one here. Look at the ferry, they are suppose to be the same one but look at the name given to it on the 2 seperate sights.

 Julie.
From what I read earlier today the two ships are sister ships - the other sunk a few years ago. But you'd need to clarify that for us Julie ;)

Yeah, if anyone can clear this up, it'll be Julie. :)
And yet another Maritime disaster in the day-and-age where such accidents are supposed to be technologically "impossible". Then again, we've been claiming that for a century, right?
I'm wondering what caused this vessel to sink...

If I would have cleared that up the articles wouldn't have been as fun to read.
If you click on the CNN article again you can see a list of the World's worst Maritime disasters. My beautiful baby girl is on the list :)

So horrible, so sad. 1,300 people on board, 350 rescued, so that means...like, 950 people possible dead. My prayers go out to the people affected by this tragedy.
I hope the investigation turns up helpful information.

The more I hear about this disaster the more horrid I become :(
P.S Sorry wasn't trying to ruin anyone's fun, I thought I had read it earlier in the day and thought if anyone could confirm it, it would be Julie - my bad.

No, it was horrid Kel and it was horris when her sister ship sank also. The sister ship (89) is talked about in a ship book I have and it's always horrific when a ship sinks and takes so many souls with it.

They did find out it was a fire in the parking bay that led to an explosion that caused the ferry to capsize and sink. There is quite a bit of rioting going on in Egypt right now over this.
