Title: Cahill
Description: While I'm bichin :)

While I'm in a foul mood about Ebay and dealing with PITA (pain in the a$%) buyers, has anyone ever bought or sold anything from Cahill (quintissential books or something like that) directly? This joker has now "won" two items from me that I have listed on Ebay. The first one, after he bid and the auction ended of course, he refused to pay for and I had to go through Ebay to get my listing fee, Final Value Fee, etc back. The second one was a Severn House Mayday that he recently won from me. He DID pay for this one, but then when he received it and got around to emailing me about 6 weeks AFTER he received it, he started whining about its condition (of which I stated on the auction itself) and has now started demanding that I give him at least a partial refund or he'll sic his lawyers on me, blah blah blah...

I don't sell too many books on Ebay (about 15+ over the past year) and as luck would have it, this guys decides to bid on 2 of them...I'm not too happy about dealing with this joker and wanted to see if anyone else has had any dealings with him.

(Not to mention that his HB editions are WAYYYYYYYYY overpriced for their quality, etc), PV, etc.

Just wondering if anyone had any insight or dealings with this guy. Ya know - I might actually feel bad if in looking through some of his recent feedback comments (and seeing what he bid on and won), that he was strapped for cash or something, but he has at least 2 auctions that he won that were in excess of $5,000 for EACH one that he won! Whew - and I thought selling him my Mayday for $250 was a lot of $!

Thanks in advance,

TF

I've only bought a few special editions off him and I didn't pay more than $65 for any of them.

Block him from buying from you, can't that be done on ebay?
