Grand Valley State University is showing Sahara on campus all week as part of their cinema series. I stopped by today and people were actually in there watching it and enjoying themselves during the boat chase scene. I couldn't stay long, though, as the class that I co-teach was about to start.

Has anyone else seen it shown outside of conventional movie theaters?

I wish my school would play it! We have free movies every so often over here...maybe they'll do Sahara.

If they did it at my school...I would probably make a fool of myself. :lol: I get way too excited over some things. :wacko: :P

When I saw the premier screening it was held at the Paramount Theater and although they do show special movies only, it is typically used as a music venue and comedy place. The last thing I saw there before Sahara was George Carlin. He was really funny until I fell asleep in the last 10 minutes of his routine.

I haven't heard anything at mine about Sahara. We have Brokeback Mountain coming though. th: I'm going to see if I can find time to see that.
