Title: The Order to Read In

StormingPhoenix - March 28, 2006 08:41 PM (GMT)
Forgive me for possibly being noobish but i've found it quite difficult to find a definitive list of what order to read the Dirk Pitt novels in.
If any of you have such a list, or even a list for the Kurt Austin or NUMA Files, could you post it here or point me in the right direction?
Many thanks

I didn't read them in order. I just picked up one when I finished another, so I was kind of jumping all over the place.

Of course you people would expect that of me anyways  .

Its not that I don't like Valhalla, cause I love it. Its just, well, there's certain information at the end that would be better explained if you had read all the previous books beforehand. Thats all. But really, whatever works for the reader, you can't go wrong. w:

My thoughts re VR are the same. Also, and I don't know if it was where I was in my life at the time, but it was the only CC book I've ever read that I could actually put down and not yearn for when I started reading again. Having said that, any CC book is an adventure!

Could you update the list of Cussler books Dearheart 05? The last book on your list was Blackwind published in 2004. I've got out of order some how with the books. What was the last Cussler published in the US?
Thanks w:

Gamay

Black Wind should still be the most recent Dirk Pitt Snr/Jnr adventure published until Treasure of Khan comes out at the end of the year. Bring it on!

Skeleton Coast is also due to come out. That's an Oregon Files book.

Interesting you should say that, as that's the first one I ever got a chance to read cover to cover.
