What I have pictured is the redboard. Look at your Hardcover and see what it looks like under the dustjacket.

Mine's blue. So that means there were black, blue and red boards used during the binding process for the same print run. This is interesting for sure and I'm wondering if other Putnam Cussler books have multi-colored issued boards.

You got the special Micheal Jackson binding.There are only 2 or 3 known to exist.He sent them back for being too dark. :blink:

My UK is Black & my US is Blue - my two fav colours :)
All my UK Hardbacks from Inca Gold onwards have black boards...with the expection of Atlantis Found which is Dark Blue :P
