I loved the first National Treasure...what an adventure! It was so good a second one is being made with the same main cast and it will feature Abe Lincoln's assassination heavily "with unknown historical facts about the Civil War and Lincoln - and a surprise ending".

cool :D , I loved National treasure too, so this is one movie that I have to see, but I don't think it's going to be better than the first one IMO. I find the knight's Templar more intersting than Abe Lincoln and the civil war.

I liked National Treasure and own it on DVD. Considering how interesting the Lincoln subplot was in Sahara I believe it will make an interesting movie topic.

I have it on DVD too and loved it. I can't wait for the next one. Linclon and the civil war are favorite topics for me.

Welcome creatureofhabit! I think, as Andy mentioned, that this particular movie was brought up because of its similarity to a Cussler novel in both genre (adventure/mystery/treasure) and plot (Lincoln?) this time.
