Title: What started me back

Edmondy - November 17, 2006 10:34 PM (GMT)
I had read a few Clive Cussler books in the past and haven't read any for a while. The last book I read was The Bourne Supremacy(sp). Needless to say, while I did enjoy the book, I felt like I needed a vacation after I read it! A very complicated book! I then picked up Valhalla Rising and started to read it. I think Clive's books are perhaps the only books that make me want to say "YES" out loud! For example when Al showed up to rescue Dirk, Kelly, and Josh! I always know I can pick up a Dirk book and KNOW that it is a book I will end up reading VERY fast and enjoy it without a doubt!

(Since I am new, I am throwing all these things up on the board! Hope nobody minds!)

Bye!
Edmond

Welcome aboard, Edmondy! Post your thoughts as often as you wish th: I said "yes" many years ago to Clive's books and still say it today. You can't beat the mix within every Cussler book like underwater adventure, exotic classic cars, super villains, bizarre contraptions, wisecracking humor, etc etc etc ... Thats why I'm hanging out for Treasure of Khan! Can't wait! ;)

As from Dirk welcome aboard
Nice to add another face to this forums growing collection.
All I got to say is you've so picked the right author to say "YES" to.
Each book will only go one step further towards your passion for more!!!!!
