Title: Black Wind
Description: comments to the critizism

Hi all:

I origional posted a similar comment as a reply on someone's negative reaction to black wind in regards that a lot of the action involves dirk junior in Black Wind.

I won't repeat my whole post but I just wanted to post my opinion where it would more likely be read. Since my first post, I read more of the positive responses now. Though I would still like to comment that I am surprised at some of the down right brutal comments that have been made.
Though dirk pitt is an awesome hero-I am a cussler fan not because of dirk pitt but because of the intelligent, action packed, clean cut(little or no bad language),
educational/historical/scientific informational, and the dogged determination and
perseverance of the hero's. Whether, it Dirk and Al, or Kurt Austen, or Juan
or dirk Junior--they didn't write the stories --Clive Cussler did along with whoever Clive had join him.
I agree with whoever spoke of the growth and experience with Dirk and Al--they must grow older -especially if there is to be references to early adventures included in later adventures. And if they must grow older--it makes sense that new characters must be introduced to help them out. (Even Zorro had to pass his sword on to Antonia Banderos.)
I haven't read Black Wind as yet, though it is on my shelf, and with every author, some stories are better than others, but I am sure looking forward to reading it-whoever ultimately beats the bad guy.
Have a great day all.
