Penelope Cruz is infuriated with the media for endlessly speculating about of her love life after her split from Tom Cruise.

According to Imdb, the Spanish actress has rubbished rumours linking her with Matthew McConaughey by insisting that she is single. The duo have been shooting the movie Sahara in Morocco and were reported to have been dating each other.

"I'm not dating anybody right now. I have a work relationship. Every time I'm not in a relationship or after a relationship, like the one I had for almost three years, it's like, '(Who) is it gonna be next time?' I don't like that part of it, " she was quoted as saying. (ANI)

I guess with the luxuries that come with fame come the downsides as well.
I for one, were kind of hoping the rumours were true. The reason being that actors and actresses that have an actual off-screen relationship tend to come across as more believable on-screen, as the added chemistry between them tends to lend credibility to the roles. Two people playing lovers that are in love are much more believable than two that are not.
Plus, it makes for great PR when the movie hits theaters, as it's just another facet of the movie to hype. (Oh, look, our two co-stars are in love!!) :)

They do kiss a few times you never know they could hook up in the near future... :wub:
