I have a good idea for a story on here but I need some info first. In Flood Tide, Dirk Pitt is recouperating from injuries sustained from a bad run in with a volcano. Did this happen during Shock Wave or after. I have not read Shock Wave. I was thinking about writing a story of this event.

It happened in Shock Wave, but how do you plan on writing the event? Why not just read the book? :unsure:

Pitt was shot twice towards the end of Shock Wave - one bullet lodged in his pelvic girdle and the other penetrated a lung - not to mention the battering he took throughout the story and the scorching from the volcano. yike:

I was going to say "Thanks for to spoilers" in the most sarcastic tone I could write, but I did kinda ask for it.


Well, there went that idea.

Don't stop let it stop you from reading the book though, Lisa. It's a cracker and you'll see what Kel meant by Pitt recovering in more than just a physical sense.
