That was me a few weeks ago.

Hi guys. Well, I lost just about all of my cussler novels (except Kahn & Black Wind cuz they were in my truck...go figure).

We had a pipe burst in my basement, ruined everything (basement was finished) including all of my cussler novels, some college texts, medical manuals, etc.

What's the easiest (read-cheapest) way of replacing these? I'm not spending $8 a book again. I can't afford that, my money's tied up in replacing sheetrock & carpeting.

Thanks in advance for the info.

They're not kidding.

I don't have any double copies but will keep an eye out. I'm so sorry to hear about your basement, I'm sure your CC collection is the least of your worries. Good luck with the clean-up and repair! para:

I have a couple of double copies, paperbacks and trade paperbacks. I live in New Zealand but would be happy to post them to you (assume you are in the US?) Send me your Postal Addy and I'll send them over.

I have a spare Dirk Pitt and Clive Cussler Revealed if you would like it. It's not in mint condition but it's yours if you want.

First post here :P

I believe I have an extra copy of a hard cover Inca Gold somewhere at home - only thing is though, I may have misplaced the jacket for it. If you're still in need, please do let me know and I'll take a look.

Good luck, and sorry to hear about the flood!

Welcome Kakonee! Even if it's from the far time zone. Enjoy yourself here. It's a big family. We even let Heep play here.

Thank you all for the responses. I haven't been around in a long long long while, we just got internet back. Along with a ton of other things (twins to boot...) going on.

We're slowly rebuilding our possessions...(we lost 90% of things in the basement, including photos, books & collectibles) and our home.

Thanks again. Its nice to know that those who read Dirk Pitt books are just as helpful as the characters,.

Glad things are going better. Do you still need any books? Post what ones you need or wold like and I'm sure we can help you out. w:

I think the only one I'm missing in Trojan O. But I saw it on-sale the other day for a couple bucks. I've been slowly building it back up the past year or so.

But thanks...just have to keep the babies from tearing them apart and I'll be fine. My oldest son's homework felt the wrath of 7 month old terrors yesterday...

Did you buy it when you saw it? If not we will, you know we love this stuff!

JimmyAEMT-I - June 1, 2008 01:44 AM (GMT)

But Teacher, my 7-month old brother ate my homework! p:

Good luck with everything, glad to hear your collection is almost back up to par.
