On Monday, June 18, 2007 nine Charleston Firefighters battled their last blaze. This has been written up in the Post and Courier (charleston.net) as the nation's large single loss of firefighters since 9/11.
The husband and I are working with a dispatcher and the local departments to create a memorial bumper sticker honoring these nine heros. As soon as we get approval for print I will post details.
This was a very sad thing. My thoughts and prayers go to the families of these men. It could happen to any firefighter. They are to be commended. th:

The stickers are for sale and a portion of the sales will go towards the familes fund(s). We are willing to mail them.
We have added a cicular design and some memorial bead bracelets that my daughters worked on.
